The body of a Palestinian student from the occupied West Bank district of Jenin was found by German police several days ago after he had gone missing for over a month’s time.

His family said autopsy is being conducted to identify the causes of the mysterious death.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that it was following up on the case in cooperation with the Palestinian Embassy in Germany and the German authorities,

According to Wafa News Agency, the victim—Mohammad Imad As'ous— is a resident of Muthalath al-Shuhada village, located to the southwest of Jenin in the north of the West Bank, who was pursuing his studies in Germany and went missing there about a month ago.
