The Russian Ministry of Health has honored Palestinian doctor Imad Meri as the best cardiology and resuscitation doctor in 2019, Palestinian sources have reported.

The Russian Health Ministry paid tribute to Meri as the best doctor as a result of a series of outstanding achievements he has made all the way through his medical career.

The doctor learned about his mark of distinction at a ceremony held in the Russian capital Moscow.

Doctor Meri reportedly studied and worked in Moscow, where he has been known for his professionalism and dedication to his work.

The doctor, who is a Palestinian refugee from El-Buss refugee camp in Lebanon, was honored for his sincere commitment to his work and selfless dedication towards his patients.
