The Norman Finkelstein’s UK tour sponsored/organized by the Palestinian Return Centre along with its partners has started with two main events in the University of Leeds and Manchester.
Irial, President Solidarity group in Leeds University said that the meeting was very successful. “It was great where over 350 took part and around 150 were turned away due to lack of space. We have got many emails of thanks from students after the event. Norman was really inspiring and taught students many things.
Hundreds of students attended the events whilst other events still to take place later. Events are still to take place at the University of Nottingham (9/11, 4 PM), University of Birmingham (10/11, 6 PM).
Pro Israeli groups in Manchester attempted to disrupt and cancel the meeting but failed.
Students in Manchester expressed excitement over the speech of Norman where the later spoke in details on future possibilities on the conflict.
For Norman’s lecture in London, tickets are being sold fast as over 700 persons booked their tickets in a short time. PRC recommends those interested to book their tickets as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.
Tickets are expected to run out shortly due to vast orders from British audiences.
The key event will take place in London at the Logan Hall in the institute for education in (11/11, 7 PM), tickets are sold as little as 5.5 pounds.
