OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)-- Two Jerusalemites, including a child, appeared at the Magistrate Court on Wednesday evening after they were arrested a few days ago at the hands of a special Israeli army unit in Issawiye village.
Wadi Helwa Information Center said that Israeli undercover units have arrested both Kazem Munther Obeid, 21, and the child Yusuf Mohamed Dare, 14, after assaulting them outside their houses.
The Center said that the arrest coincided with clashes in Obeid neighborhood in the village, where Israeli forces raided the house of Walid Shehadeh Obeid and damaged its contents.
The Israeli forces used stun grenades and rubber bullets to disperse the young protesters.
Meanwhile, Israeli police arrested on Wednesday four Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem on suspicion of involvement in a fire that broke out in the city.
Hebrew daily Haaretz reported that 40 firefighting teams as well as six fire-fighting aircraft had managed to contain the blaze that broke out near Evin Sapir in occupied Jerusalem.
