The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) met with Scottish Liberal Democrats politician Alistair Carmichael, Member for Orkney and Shetland, in his office in Parliament to brief him about recent developments in Palestine-Israel.
Mr. Carmichael discussed his recent trip to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories during a Caabu-Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) parliamentary delegation and highlighted the expansion of Israel’s settlements project as a key obstacle to any hope for a change in the status quo.
The PRC briefed Mr. Carmichael about its activities in Parliament, at the United Nations and its efforts to defend and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees, especially their right of return.
The PRC thanks Alistair Carmichael MP for the opportunity to discuss important matters with him and look forward to future collaborations.
