PRC briefs Labour MP Lloyd Russel-Moyle on Palestine

13 November 2017

The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) met with Labour Party politician Lloyd Russel-Moyle, Member of Parliament for the Brighton, Kemptown constituency since June this year, and member of the International Development Committee since September 2017.

The PRC briefed Mr. Russel-Moyle on its activities in Parliament, at the United Nations, and its efforts to promote the rights of Palestinian refugees, highlighting their right of return. An upcoming research trip to Palestinian refugee camps in Jordan was also debated.

Mr. Russel-Moyle discussed his involvement with the International Development Committee and highlighted that an investigation into how aid is being spent in Gaza is planned for next year. He also suggested a collaboration between Palestinian Youth organisations and the European Youth Forum, where he served as a Vice President.

The PRC thanks Lloyd Russel-Moyle MP for the time taken to discuss these significant issues with him, and looks forward to collaborating with the MP over the next few years.
