Preparatory and executive committees for the 16th Palestinians in Europe Conference met today in the Italian city, Milan, to follow the final preparations and place the final touches for the 16th Palestinians in Europe Conference under the banner, “70 Years On .. And We Shall Return,” to be held in Milan, Italy, on Sunday 29th of April 2018.

The meetings were held in the presence of, President of the Palestinian-European Conference, Majid Al-Zeir, Secretary-General of the Conference, Adel Abdullah, President of the Palestinian Gathering in Italy, Mohammed Hanoun, and the Media Officer of the Conference, Amin Abu Rashed, in addition to a number of members of the Central Committee of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference, and members of the Executive Committees of the Conference.

The participants who came from different European countries, followed up on the latest logistical and administrative preparations required for the conference. The Executive Committees of the Conference also presented the latest arrangements and equipment necessary for the success of the Conference, including preparations for the reception of the Return convoys, as well as preparations for the implementation of the various programs accompanying the Conference and other arrangements.

The first edition of the "Palestinians in Europe Conference" was held in 2003 in the British capital city London, and then moved through a number of European capitals and cities on an annual basis without interruption. The most recent Conference was held in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, in 2017.
