Attended by thousands of Palestinians, Arabs and Europeans from different countries, the opening ceremony of the 16th Palestinians-in-Europe Conference took place this morning, Sunday the 29th of April 2018, in Milan, under slogan “70 years on… and we shall return."

Several “Return Convoys” coming from all European countries have been flocking since the early morning hours; a scene which confirms Palestinians' commitment to their right to return to their land of Palestine.

The big audience included a number of media guests, jurists, politicians, and Palestinian, Arab and European activists who support the Palestinian right.

The upcoming seminars today are to discuss issues and themes of great importance to the Palestinian cause, particularly the issues of Jerusalem, prisoners, refugees and the siege imposed on Gaza.

The Conference, this year, comes with the 70th Anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba, when thousands of Palestinians were displaced from their cities, towns and villages, towards different countries of the world.
