Gaza One Year On: the Great March of Return
The Palestinian Return Centre invites you to a side-event onboard of the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva to discuss the deteriorating situation in the occupied and blockaded Gaza Strip. The UN Commission of Inquiry into the 2018 protests found that Israeli authorities "may have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity" in targeting unarmed Palestinians. One year on since the Great March of Return began Palestinians continue to demand an end to siege and for their right of return to be implemented.
