PRC Updates British MPs

The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) sent a letter to the newly elected British MP's. The letter informed them of the conditions in Gaza and the plight of Palestinian refugees.

The letter drew attention to the attack on the Flotilla stating that the Israeli attack demanded a tough stance from the international community.

It made reference to the statement from the British Foreign Minister, William Hague, who called for Israel to meet its obligations under international law and end the siege of Gaza and called on the new MP's to support the international condemnation and take positive steps to end the siege of Gaza.

The letter also included facts about conditions in Gaza. PRC urged the MPs to work towards ensuring that international law, human rights are upheld and that Palestinians are not denied their basic human rights. Furthermore an urgent appeal was made for them to join the global solidarity movements and to work within government bodies to end the criminal siege on Gaza.
