The Palestinian Return Centre (PRC), in partnership with the Council for European Palestinian Relations, is taking a delegation of British and European parliamentarians to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon between the 6th and 9th February.
Led by British MP and former Minister Sir Gerald Kaufman, the delegates will hold meetings with key Lebanese figures including President Michel Suleiman and Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri.
The delegates will also meet with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency and key NGOs to assess the standard of living and rights of the Palestinians, and will visit a number of the refugee camps including Shatila and Nahr el Bared.
PRC has organised a number of parliamentary delegations to Syria, Lebanon, and Gaza. The visits aim at informing them about the current conditions on political, humanitarian and social levels.
